A mountain bike ride in the Whakarewarewa forest (Rotorua) turns to custard...

Mate Tony 'Tintin' Todd and one of our Wildman crew, has just got his new bike and is taking it out on it's maiden voyage - shuttling some sweet downhill single track in the Redwoods. I get to tag along for the ride and film some of the fun - but what should've been an epic day, ends in disaster. A snapped femur after going over the bars on the 'step-down moto' on 'Little Red Riding Huck'. Bugger.

Two ambulances finally turned up (two?) - one of them getting stuck for half-an-hour while we dug it out... nice. Tintin's now got a nice titanium rod and a bunch of screws holding his body together - he's now our bionic man...

This happened a few months ago - but I've only just got around to putting it on video. He's healing up nicely and will be at our next Wildman event - so to all our many Tintin fans... no need to panic!
